Pop-Up Shop
In Forest in October-December to raise funds for our social-workers' in Tanzania.
We are looking for volunteers who will commit 2 half days per month.
We'll open 9-5pm Monday-Saturday with volunteers taking on a shift from 9-1pm or 1-5pm every second week .

Royce Ezekiel was 14 years old when her mother died. Her father remarried, but he sadly passed in August 2022. Royce and her young brother Abiud continued to stay with the stepmother at home.
Unfortunately, her stepmother mistreated both Royce and her brother, which severely impacted their physical and mental well-being. She dropped out of primary school, rented a house, and began working in low-paid jobs to support herself and Abiud.
They met a local councillor in Katahoka ward who introduced them to our Tumaini office in Biharimulo. Royce was sponsored and joined the vocational tailoring course.
Abiud is now 13 years old and studying in standard 5 primary school. He is learning, growing, and is much happier.

How has life changed?

In January 2025, we celebrated the success of Royce graduating. She was gifted a sewing machine, along with some materials, as a startup kit.
The village chairman has provided a workspace for her in the Katahoka centre. She is now earning an income.

Royce and Abiud are now living with Pelesi Joshua, another sponsored Tumaini orphan.
Together they live as a family in a home built with love from Buckie Baptist Church.
Together, they are building a new life and have hope for the future.
